Children's Festival
What can we do today?
Today is the first day of the 25th annual Philadelphia International Children's Festival at The Annenberg Center. It runs through May 2nd. Enjoy shows, a free t-shirt and access to events and activities on the Outdoor Plaza, including jugglers, musicians, dancers, crafts and more.

Check out the weekly Storytime at Barnes & Noble, starts at 10:30am for pre-school and beginner readers.

Old English Sheep Dog
What can we do today?
Visit Author Judith Kirsten & Henley at William Jeanes Library today at 1:30. Henley is an Old English Sheep dog. Judith helped him write the story of his life -- My Life and Times as a Rescued Dog. If you go, please bring some pet food to donate to the Montgomery County SPCA.

Whitemarsh Day
What can we do today?
What an absolutely beautiful day for Whitemarsh Day at Miles Park !! I'll see you there this afternoon from 12 noon to 6 pm. But don't go home at 6 pm -- stay for dinner, live music, and of course the laser light show at the Whitemarsh Day 10th Anniversary Party tonight!
If you have time this morning before the celebration starts, you can check out the spring ritual of Sheep Shearing at Peter Wentz Farmstead starting at 10am.

The popular Webkinz Extravanganza at Merrymead Farm. You do need to pre-register, so use the link to check out the details.

Sowing Seeds
What can we do today?
Sowing Seeds at The Schuykill Center is part of their Nature for the Young Series. Get the garden ready by planting some seeds. Investigate the life cycle of plants and where seeds come from. Then create a mosaic out of different kinds of seeds and beans to take home. For ages 18 months to 4 years, with adult.
Also tonight, why not try out the Friday Night Swim at the Plymouth WhiteMarsh High School?

Celebrate the Plaza Grand Opening at Plymouth Meeting Mall officially May 1st at 10am. There will be a ribbon cutting, refreshments and special Opening Day offers.
Flick & Float at the Plymouth Community Center. Watch a movie from the pool.
